Prof. Ping Zhang

Prof. Zhang gained Extra Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2016, awards of National science and technology progress second prize twice in 2003, 2010 (in public notification) respectively, National Award for Technological Invention (2008), third Prize of Beijing Science and Technology twice in 2004, 2008, second Prize once in 2009 (in public notification) and Award for Chinese Outstanding Patent Invention in 2016, and received several other rewards at both the provincial and ministerial level, and got the JCN Best Paper Award in 2009.
Prof. Zhang published 9 books till now. He also acts as the vice editor-in-chief of History of China’s Telecommunication Discipline organized by CIC (China Institute of Communications) and invited to participate in the publishing of Long Term Evolution, and invited to write the book Cognitive Radio Networks, published by Science Publishing Company in 2010.
Prof. Zhang has published more than 400 papers both at home and abroad publications, such as IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Electronics Letters, Chinese Journal of Electronics. He has contributed 20 more international Standards, including ITU and 3GPP. And he holds about 161 patents.
Deputy Director
Prof. Sen Su
Susen, Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, is the Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology and the Vice President of Network Technology Research Institute of BUPT. He is also the Secretary the Service Computing Committee of the China Computer Federation and Editor of China Communications. He focuses on Service Computing, Cloud Computing, Network Virtualization and Big Data.
Professor Su has participated in and led 8 national level research projects, including one Key Programs of the Major Research Plan of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, three General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two projects funded by the Program 973 and two projects funded by the Program 863. He has played a leading role in the program Network Theory and Technique of Communication Network which is funded by the Science Fund for Creative Research Groups of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published many high-quality research papers in top journals like IEEE/ACM TON, IEEE TKDE and IEEE ICDE. He was also elected in the New Century Excellent Talents Program of the Ministry of Education.
Professor Su has received the second prized of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011, the first prize of the China Institute of Communications Science and Technology Award and the second prize of China Computer Federation Wang Xuan Award.
Deputy Director
Prof. Xuesong Qiu
Qiu Xuesong,Professor, doctoral supervisor. He is currently the deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of networking and switching technology, and vice president of Network Technology Research Institute of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. He is engaged in network management and service management research and teaching work for a long time. He is leaders of many projects, supporting by project of 973 plan, 863 plan, National Natural Science Foundation of China; He is editor of the 2 international standard ITU-T and 4 industry standards of china, and participated in 14 ITU-T international standards and 6 industry standards. The scientific research results have been widely used in China's carrier networks, various private networks and overseas carrier networks. He won the national scientific and technological progress prize twice. He has published more than 150 academic papers, among which more than 30 have been published at the famous international conference (such as INFOCOM/GLOBCOM/ICC) or SCI index journal.
Deputy Director
Prof. Baoling Liu
Baoling Liu, Professor, Supervisor of Master. Currently, she is the deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology. Her main research area is the basic theory of wireless communication and the new electric and electronic techniques. She accomplishes many innovation work on two-dimension RAKE reception, the simulation of the key techniques of WCDMA, the synchronization, channel estimation and detection in the multi-user MIMO-OFDM system and the design of the new type high speed and high density electric and electronic circuitry. She was awarded the first prize of China Institute of Communications in 2006. She is also a member of the 9th committee of Electronic Circuitry Association of Beijing Electronic Institute.
