Introduction

The Switching and Intelligent Control Research Center (SICRC) has conducted research for years on fundamental theory of computer science and telecommunications, state-of-the-art technology as well as the development of core network equipment. SICRC has been a leading institute in intelligent network research in China since 1993. Product series of CIN system which is based on SICRC’s research and patents have obtained a 95%+ share of domestic fixed intelligent network market, and have been accepted by foreign telecom operators. With the development of network technology, SICRC has extended the research to new fields since 2002 attempted to propose some key technologies with great theoretic significance and promising applications. Research directions include: convergence network and service supporting technologies, convergence network service computing, cloud computing and big data, service provision technologies in Internet of things, service and network security, etc. Additionally, SICRC has built long-term partnerships with universities and research organizations of famous national and international enterprises.
