Professor Edith C Ngai from University of Uppsala, Sweden visited Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology

On December 29, at the invitation of State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching, Professor Edith C Ngai visited the lab and academic exchanged with the lab and students.

Professor Edith Ngai is the head of the computer Science program in the University of Uppsala, also an internationally renowned expert and scholar in the field of IoT and participatory perception technology, which has served as the Chair of the Conference on the agenda of Infocom, IWQoS, ICC and Globecom, and members of the technical Programme/Review Committee, as well as reviewers of several international journals.

The academic exchange is moderated by Professor Wang Wendong from the State Key laboratory of BUPT. Professor Gong Xiangyang from the lab and Associate Professor Zhao Fang,from School of Software Engineering, PhD and postgraduates in each lab research center. At the meeting, Professor Edith Ngai introduced her latest research results, and discussed in depth with the participants.

After the meeting, Professor Edith and Professor Wang Wendong, Professor Gong Xiangyang and doctoral graduate students summed up the results of the collaborative research on the two sides, and explored the direction, content and planning of the cooperation in the field of "participatory perception".
