Professor David Grier, former chairman of IEEE Computer Association, visited the State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology

In the morning of October 27, the former chairman of the IEEE Computer Association, Professor David Grier, director of International Affairs Department of George Washington University, accompanied by Wen Sijun, the deputy director of BUPT International Office, and Mz. Xue Lei, visited the State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology.

Accompanied by Professor Su Sen, the Associate Director of the lab Associate Professor Shuang Kai, Professor Grier visited the State Key Laboratory. Associate Professor Shuang Kai introduced the history and achievements of the lab to Prof. Grier. After the visit, Professor Grier and laboratory teacher representatives conducted a seminar which is moderated by Professor Su Sen. After understanding the main research directions and results of the research centers of the lab, Professor Grier hopes to collaborate specifically with related researchers in the lab to make influential research results, and to publish influential research papers, and hopefully through his presentations, researchers at the lab can participate more in the work of the IEEE Computer Association.
